After living with and hearing this product in a variety of situations
and setups I'mconvinced it's the most significant product to
have graced my system, and every other system I've heard it
in with respect to noise and AC grunge removal. Here's the kicker,
you don't know how much noise and grunge gets in the way of
your system until you hear this product. Makes every AC conditioner
I've owned sound inferior and in some cases broke. Don't let
its exorbitant price scare you because once you hear it, you
too might qualify this product more than a bargain.
Significant implies sonic impact. The Bybee Bullets; a secret
mixture of 14-carat gold, quantum mechanics and newly adopted
Nano-tube technology, have impacted on my systems sonics unlike
anything I have heard - maybe - with the exception of the Nova
Physics Memory Player and Behold electronics. And that said,
both these products COULD NOT perform in the stellar ways they
do if it were not for the Bybee Bullets adeptness at removing
grain, grit and glare. This in no way, minimizes other noteworthy
products like the Acoustic Resonators or the Shatki Hallographs
but I would have to qualify these products in the category of
acoustic enhancers (and very good ones at that). The Bybee Bullets
isn't that at all. It serves more as a noise remover that allows
all the music to come through in a naturally organic way I've
not experienced before from any AC line conditioner. None. Easily,
the very best noise removal product to come from Jack Bybee
thus far or anyone else for that matter. -Clement Perry

My reaction to the first 10 second of a well burned in set of
Bybee Speaker Bullets inserted between the Sunny 1000 speaker wire
and the Dynaudio Evidence Master's binding posts was "Wow!!" next words? "
These are staying".
The effect was impossible to ignore. Similar in effect to what a
great line conditioner ought to yield, the bullets, however, operate
on the signal rather than the current. There is something very special
at work here, more than simply a lowering of the noise floor, which indeed
there is. The sound relaxes, warms, and comes to life in a way that was
never quite accessible via the traditional tweaks employed to date. I am in
no way diminishing the contributions of the power accessories and isolation
devices such as the outstanding Silent running Audio Stands I recently included
in my system. They simply address other problems, which however effective they
may be at their given tasks, there will always lurk that elusive distortion
that the Bybee Bullets seem to absolve.
At over $3k, these diminutive products may seemingly be, when
judged at cost per pound, another over priced audiophile widget,
nothing could be further from the truth. I consider the Bybee
Bullets an invaluable component in my audio eco- system, not
another tacked on tweak. I am looking forward to the audiophile
community catching wind of these remarkable devices. Should
make for some great buzz. -Greg Petan

I would like to introduce you to the newest product from Bybee Technology.
The newly developed product is the "SE Speaker Bullets". Click into Bybeeconnections.com
link for recent awards, current reviews and description. The "SE Speaker Bullets" are
basically an extension of your speaker's binding post. The sonic improvement resulting
from insertion of the "SE Speaker Bullets" is truly remarkable, a new totally realistic
sound dimension is created. You will not believe the magnitude of sonic improvement your
system is truly capable of until you have heard and experience this for yourself…one of Beta
Testers said "I could have spent $50,000 to $100,000 on upgrades and not obtained this level
of improvement".
The SE speaker Bullets will retail for $4200 per set of four (4). Expensive, yes but a very
cost effective method considering the degree of sonic improvement you will experience…. MSRP
is $4200 per set. You have a 30 day trial period and if you are not completely satisfied with
the results return the "SE Speaker Bullets" and your $4200 will be immediately refunded. You
have everything to gain and nothing to loose. This offer is valid for 45 days only. -Larry Coletta’s

Rarely, if at all in a lifetime is one ever privileged to see the emergence
of a technological advancement that defines a new dimension. What constitutes
a 'dimension?' A dimension is a space in which something operates that cannot
be replicated by any behavior in any other combination of dimensions. Case in
point: The introduction of multi-channel audio recording, stereophony to be
specific, resulted in the capturing of sound stage and room ambience that could
never be replicated in a monaural system of any quality. Stereophony operates
in an additional dimension beyond that of monaural.
The Bybee Speaker Bullets operate in a new dimension as well. How can that
statement be justified? It is justified by the reality that what they offer
to the audiophile is irreplaceable by any combination of alternative improvements
to the playback system. Were this statement not true, it would be possible to
assemble an audio playback system of sufficiently high quality that the Speaker
Bullets would be rendered ineffective. Indeed, the Bullets have been experimented
with on many an exquisitely elaborate and costly system. Repeatedly the result is the
same: The improvement is dramatic and uncharacteristic of any other possible upgrades.
Invariably the host system owner is remiss or emphatically unwilling to relinquish the
Bullets upon conclusion. The Bullets operate in a new dimension, whence it has not been
demonstrated that their removal from a system can be mitigated by any other subsequent upgrade.
Equally important, another characteristic of operating in a
new dimension is that of non-interference with the system. It
is impossible for an action in one dimension to diminish the
actions committed in any other dimensions. What this means about
the Bybee Speaker Bullets is that they cannot and will not diminish
the improvements made elsewhere in the system. If a system performs
well because of its cables, amplifiers, sources, or speakers,
the Bullets cannot undermine those benefits because they operate
in a different dimension than do those aforementioned components.
So what exactly do the Bullets do to the sound? To answer this question
a direct comparison was made of the playback of Leonard Bernstein's Candide
Suite, performed by the Minnesota Orchestra (Reference Recordings), with and
without the Speaker Bullets. This piece was selected because it is exquisitely
recorded, musically and sonically complex, dynamic and delicate. It is a tough
workout of a system and very revealing.
In typical fashion, the piece was listened to carefully a few times without the
Bullets. After installing the Bullets, it was played again. The very first
impression was that something was missing. A more profound sense of interspatial
and inter-temporal silence eventually explained the mysterious absence. Counter-intuitively,
the silence was most compelling during crescendo passages, rendering individual
instruments discernable when before a more composite din of harmonic voices blurred
the details. At this point the absence was recognized as decidedly advantageous.
As though made discernable by the silence, a sweeter, almost angelic rendition of the
violins evoked an emotional response from me that did not occur in the previous auditions.
Longer decays followed each violin note and lamented their cessations, unhindered by the
simultaneous progress of subsequent notes. I was being drawn in... -Michael Vice

Between Listening sessions I repeated the XLO Noise track
to break in the Speaker Bullets to the recommended 200 hours.
Out of the Box
Out of the box, the Speaker Bullets actually made the sound
more out of focus. Had I not had extensive experience with
the Bybee Quantum Purifiers, I probably would have felt compelled
to put them back in the box and return them for a refund…
12 hours
After twelve hours of break-in however, it seemed evident
that something was happening, particularly with the imaging
beginning to extend itself beyond the boundaries of the outside
of the speakers, although there was still a level of incohesiveness
to the overall presentation.
24 hours
After twenty-four hours, it was becoming clear that something
special was emerging, as though a haze had been lifted, with
subtle details and imaging presenting itself with a delicacy
that I had never heard before. Instruments were hanging in
their own space within the soundstage, clearly differentiating
the presentation compared to before inserting the Speaker
Bullets.
36 hours
At thirty-six hours after initiating the break in there was
more silence in the space between instruments within the soundstage
and the level of irritability I have grown accustomed to experiencing
with even the best CD playback had diminished substantially.
There was additional detail to the treble, without the spotlight
effect that I had heard with high-purity silver cables. However
the difference was night and day, in that my objection to
silver cables is that they typically spot light the treble
as one cohesive whole as opposed to the Speaker Bullets which
added a more natural clarity to the upper register of each
instrument that was clearly audible without the sterile effect
that added detail at the expense of listenability. I wondered
whether this was partially due to what I believe were silver
contacts on the spade connectors of the Bullets? Regardless,
Cymbals took on a new level of definition, not only in the
way I could actually hear all of the detail that was not audible
before, but also where they were located in terms of depth
within the sound stage. Quite the antithesis of the leaner,
more forward presentation I had experienced with pure silver
interconnects and speaker cables that only served to magnify
the faults of the system and spotlight the treble and CD digititous
of the entire system.
100 Hours
At 100 hours, there continued to be gradual improvements that
were heard in the context of how I focused on each individual
instrument hanging in space. The improvements had to do with
timberal accuracy as subtle details emerged on a blacker background.
Between 100-200 hours, the changes were far less dramatic
although meaningful nonetheless in terms of overall listenablity
and naturalness. -Bybee Customer
