Audible Improvements builds custom vacuum tube amplifiers and speakers and proudly uses Bybee Purifiers in all of our custom and modification work. In addition to the custom designs, we also consult on whole audio systems, and we modify everything from source to power supplies, cds,speakers, s/s amps, etc. Modifications started because all manufactures have to cutcorners in order to keep their product within a price range, leaving room for marketing, cosmetics and profit. Bill Thalmann has been a musician (keyboards) and music lover for as long as he can remember. He started working with electronics at 12 yrs of age. and professionally in the mid-70's as a technician for a Washington DC-based stereo retailer. He went on to become the first employee of Conrad-Johnson Design, as their technical director, a position he held for almost 20 years, contributing to the design of most of their products. Music Technology, Inc was founded in 1986 as a part-time endeavor in support of local high end dealers, and in 2000 became a full-time business with six technicians supporting local musicians, schools, retailers, and of course, music lovers.
